Emily Rodda and Will Kostakis speaking to their craft and Will in conversation with our Curious Creators from our Curious Creatures, Wild Minds at Taronga Zoo Series: Sami Bayly, Abbie Mitchell, Lesley Gibbes, Charmaine Ledden-Lewis and Sue Whiting.
Students from Primary & High Schools across NSW will review the Shortlisted titles in the Younger and Older Categories of the CBCA Book of the Year Awards.

Meet our Guest Speakers
Emily Rodda
Emily Rodda is one of Australia's best-known children's book authors. She has written over 100 books, including the internationally best-selling Deltora Quest and Rowan of Rin series, and has won the Children's Book Council of Australia's Book of the Year Award for Younger Readers a record six times.
Will Kostakis
Will Kostakis is a journalist and YA author, renowned for touring schools across the country. His novel The First Third won the 2014 Gold Inky Award. It was also shortlisted for the CBCA Book of the Year and Australian Prime Minister’s Literary awards. The Sidekicks and Monuments were both CBCA Notable books. This year sees the release of Rebel Gods and The Greatest Hit.
